Did you grow up eating sugary, high-carb, heavily-processed foods? Have those habits followed you into adulthood? If you have a tendency to skip breakfast in lieu of your morning coffee, you’ve experienced struggles with constant weight fluctuations, 24/7 bloating or problematic acne throughout your life…
Then we’re already on the same page, and I’ve been exactly where you are.
I understand feeling like conventional medicine has backed you into a corner where you’re seemingly left with no options. In my late teens/early adulthood, I was told that the only solution for my stubborn acne was to go on an intense medication with a laundry list of potential side effects.
Already on hormonal birth control pills, I was disheartened and feeling like dealing with my symptoms would be a lifelong feat.
As a last ditch effort, I started looking into things like endocrine disruptors, went off hormonal birth control, swapped out all my toxic personal care products, and started cooking for myself more frequently.
I was fascinated by the findings of my research and the results of just a few slight changes in my daily life. Finally, I saw a sliver of hope for discovering alternative solutions that could work for me and so many others facing the same obstacles.
This led me to the Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) program, where they focus on a holistic, food-based, root-cause approach to wellness.
So many of us are living with our symptoms everyday thinking that’s our only option, because we’ve been led to believe it’s our “normal.”
What if I told you it didn’t have to be?
Conventional medicine can certainly work miracles, but preventative care can limit the medications we take and increase our vitality, just through making basic lifestyle changes and focusing on the food we put into our bodies everyday.
There isn’t a magic pill or a quick-fix. I know that making a change is hard and the road ahead might seem daunting. But as someone who has personally walked this path, I know which steps to take and in what order. I would never ask you to do something that I haven’t already done or wouldn’t do myself. I can get you where you want to be without the overwhelm of where to start and how, and I can walk you through it at a pace that’s comfortable for you - every step of the way.

A few of my favorite things include traveling with my husband, spending time with my four rescue animals, volunteering at my local fire department, hiking, and sitting down with a good book.
While sometimes challenging, I love discovering the perfect balance between doing the things that feed my soul, while simultaneously listening to and nourishing my body.
